Edge & Peak

Immersive entrance experience and bar lounge interior

Ferra Designs The Edge Entrance Hallway Metalwork

Edge, the Western Hemisphere’s highest outdoor sky deck, offers unparalleled 360-degree views of the iconic New York City skyline. The experience starts before visitors reach the top. The traditional queuing line has been reimagined by the LAB as Journey to Edge, an immersive experience with a linear narrative about Hudson Yards’ transformation from an active rail yard to New York City’s newest neighborhood. Ferra’s design team and craftsmen assisted in pulling this vision together.

Ferra’s design team and craftsmen worked on the Peak’s storefront entrance, the bar’s feature wall, metal frames and doors, shelving and other brass elements throughout.

At the entrance to the Peak Restaurant and Bar guests are greeted by a specialty brass finish storefront with full height blade fins, which frame the building’s truss structure beyond.

“Space felt congruent with being atop of a modern 21st-century skyscraper, and was future-forward in its thinking yet still expressed a sense of elegance, warmth, and sophistication.”
